Job Description:
Junction 35 Kitchen & Bar is searching for an experienced and driven Shift Lead to oversee all aspects of daily operations. In this roleyou will act as a vital point of contact between staff and upper management, driving team performance and promoting a positive workplace culture. Your leadership and passion for hospitality will be key in maintaining our commitment to quality service and honoring our unique culinary heritage.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations to ensure adherence to company standards of service and quality.
  • Manage and lead all front-of-house and back-of-the house staff, fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment maintaining high standards of service, quality, and cleanliness.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage supplier relationships, and assist with ordering supplies.
  • Drive guest satisfaction by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring every patron has a memorable experience.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Collaborate with upper management to establish goals and review budgets and analytics and suggest improvement
  • Monitor and supervise the timely arrival of scheduled employees, be aware of unforeseen challenges like scheduling conflicts and see to it the business is adequately staffed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or retail industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
