About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Mechanic / Small Engine Specialist / Ride Maintenance Technician to help maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair amusement rides and attractions. This role is hands-on and essential to keeping our rides safe, operational, and running smoothly every day.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of rides and attractions
• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Service go-karts, roller coasters, and other amusement rides
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and respond to ride downtime quickly
• Complete preventive maintenance and safety checklists
• Document maintenance work and report safety concerns immediately
• Assist with ride setup, testing, and seasonal opening/closing procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work closely with operations staff to ensure guest safety

Qualifications

• Experience as a mechanic, maintenance technician, or similar role
• Strong mechanical aptitude (Honda small engines, general hydraulics, electrical systems)
• Experience with go-karts, amusement rides, or industrial equipment preferred
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights
• Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
• Amusement ride safety training a plus
