Do you have a calm, welcoming presence, an eye for detail, and the ability to keep things running smoothly at the front door? V8 Roadhouse — an award-winning restaurant known for exceptional food, unforgettable drinks, and a lively, family-friendly atmosphere — is looking for a professional and attentive Hostess to join our team.
As the first point of contact, you’ll set the tone for our guests’ experience. From handling reservations to managing waiting lists and keeping service organised, you’ll be the friendly face that makes everyone feel at home.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Previous hostess or front-of-house experience preferred.
  • Calm, friendly, and professional under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills in English and at least one local language.
  • Ability to handle reservations, manage guest flow, and keep order while guests wait.
  • Organised and attentive to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Greeting and welcoming guests with a warm, professional attitude.
  • Managing reservations and walk-ins effectively.
  • Keeping track of waiting lists and seating order.
  • Coordinating with servers and the FOH team to ensure smooth seating flow.
  • Providing guests with accurate wait times and updates.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised front-of-house area.
  • Assisting with phone calls and guest inquiries.

About You:

  • You’re approachable, composed, and love making guests feel welcome.
  • You’re a natural organiser who can keep calm even when it’s busy.
  • You’re attentive, professional, and able to communicate clearly with both guests and staff.
  • You understand that the first impression sets the tone for the entire dining experience.

Qualifications: Prior hostess/front-of-house experience is a plus.
