General Manager
Job Purpose: To manage daily operations of restaurant ensuring exceptional service, the highest quality of products, and profitability to ultimately create a unique and enjoyable experience for members, guests and team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Assistant Managers to hire, train, manage, and develop team members
  • Including meeting with employees through planned meetings, reviews, and daily one-on-ones
  • Manage shifts to ensure efficient operations and member/guest experience expectations are exceeded by:
  • Assisting and guiding staff as needed, including filling in for any position
  • Ensuring consistent high quality food preparation and guest service
  • Responding to and resolving member/guest issues and complaints to ensure a positive experience
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal laws, including but not limited to:
  • Completion of ServSafe® training and Ward County food safety certification for self and all team members
  • Enforcement of alcohol responsibility policy
  • Meet or exceed cost of goods goals for beverage and food programs by:
  • Effectively planning/projecting needs of all goods to prevent waste
  • Practicing and ensuring compliance to menu and drink specifications
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of al restaurant inventories
  • Ensuring all deliveries are checked in correctly and invoices are correct
  • Researching and working with vendors to ensure best pricing
  • Meet labor budgets through effective scheduling and monitoring coverage
  • Ensure all financial and personnel/payroll related admin duties are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain professional restaurant image, including general maintenance and cleanliness of restaurant and proper uniform and appearance standards
  • POS programming and maintenance

Requirements:

  • Previous restaurant and management / supervisory experience
  • 50 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Standing extended periods of time / entire shift
  • Ability frequently to bend, reach, lift 50 - 100 lbs.
