  • The role of the Bakery Production team member is to ensure quality and consistency the Monasaba menu bakery vision. Their dedication to quality products and unparalleled execution is what will keep guests coming back.
  • The Bakery Production position is designed to support, maintain and execute the standards of quality in bakery preparation and production. Bakery Production Workers are key members of the team as they're directly responsible for the preparation, production and operations in Yemeni bakery.

Role of a Bakery Production Employee:

  • Accurately complete all prep bakery items and food orders to Monasaba standards
  • Accountable for supporting standards of cleanliness, timing, uniform, grooming, organization, production, food quality, and consistency
  • Be enthusiastic, energetic and demonstrate a genuine positive demeanor throughout the shift
  • Be professional and hospitable while promoting the Monasaba bakery brand
  • Possess a sincere attitude to be of service to others with a desire to succeed

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Loading ingredients in mixers, dividing and shaping dough per requirement, operating mixing machinery and equipment, operating commercial tandoori ovens
  • Support standards of cleanliness, timing, uniform, grooming, organization, production, food quality, and consistency
  • Assembling and weighing ingredients according to recipes
  • Maintain the work area, including all counter tops, equipment, and refrigeration in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Inventory all products that may need to be stocked and/or prepped – keep management informed of food quantities and quality in prep, on the line, and in holding
  • Ensure all products are prepared, held, and served at correct temperatures
  • Accurately complete all orders with uncompromising quality and consistency as per restaurant and owners’ specifications
  • Complete all food production and prep sheets as well as monitoring daily prep production

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a high-paced environment
  • Minimum of 1-year related bakery experience
  • Ability to follow a recipe
  • Food Safety Certificate (Preferable)
  • Fluency in English both written and verbal
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to carry and lift items weighing 50lbs
  • Must be able to stand and move for extended periods of time to continuously perform essential job functions
