About the Role

As our Lead Bartender, you are not just mixing drinks — you are crafting experiences. You bring the energy that turns a casual evening into a night remembered. You’re a hands-on leader with a deep knowledge of spirits and wine, a head for systems and operations, and a heart that beats in rhythm with the values of care, abundance, and intention.
This is a role for someone who can balance creativity with precision, charisma with accountability, and who thrives in a space where every cocktail tells a story.

Responsibilities

Hospitality & Service

• Connect with guests authentically — make them feel seen, remembered, and delighted.
• Provide exceptional service behind the bar with confidence, pace, and grace.
• Ensure every drink leaves the bar at Sabà’s standards for quality and presentation.

Craft & Creativity

• Design seasonal cocktails that complement our menu, reflect our values, and surprise and delight our guests.
• Curate a balanced wine list, collaborate on beverage pairings, and maintain an up-to-date understanding of beer and spirits.
• Champion the consistency and excellence of all bar offerings, from classic pours to experimental infusions.

Leadership & Operations

• Train and mentor bartenders and barbacks with care and clarity.
• Manage bar inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships — always aiming for balance between abundance and efficiency.
• Track usage, cost, waste, and performance with attention to detail and an eye on continuous improvement.
• Ensure the bar is a clean, safe, well-organized, and inspiring place to work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of bartending experience and 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong product knowledge across cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems.
• Ability to train and lead a team with patience and excellence.
• Solid organizational skills and a sharp palate.
• A collaborative, grounded, and proactive approach — you’re both guest-focused and team-oriented.
