Job Overview

The Bartender at The Slice Pizza delivers an energetic, welcoming bar experience while preparing high‑quality beverages with consistency and care. This role combines great hospitality, strong product knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and specialty drinks according to company recipes and standards
• Provide friendly, attentive service to bar guests and support servers with drink orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout the shift
• Check IDs and follow all alcohol service laws and company policies
• Upsell beverages and menu items to enhance the guest experience
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily bar prep duties
• Communicate effectively with front‑of‑house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or bar service experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of basic cocktails, beer, and wine
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Must meet age requirements for alcohol service in South Carolina
