Summary of Position As a BOH team member, you must accurately and efficiently cook and present final plates including barbeque meats, vegetables, side dishes and other hot and cold food products as well as prepare and portion food products as a matter of preparation. PRIMARY – SHIFT EXPECTATIONS

  • Ensures that the line is “Rush-Ready” ½ hour prior to the start of the service period you are part of.
  • Assumes 100% responsibility for the quality of products served to our guests.
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station including tables, shelves, walls, flat-top grills, fryers, refrigeration equipment, outside smoker area, counters, and floors.
  • Ensures that food is cooked and stored at the correct temperature by monitoring the temperature of range burners, ovens, flat top grill, and other kitchen equipment.
  • In regards to personal and food safety, you perform your duties with the safety of our guests, team members, and the restaurant in mind.
  • Ensures that food products are organized and stored in designated containers and storage areas, rotating oldest to be used first by practicing F.I.F.O.
  • Ensures that all staff understands the importance of organization in the storage areas, freezers, and walk-in fridge.

Compensation

  • This position's wage composition includes Base Rate + Tip Out + $2.00 / hr Food Credit
  • $17.00 per hour is the negotiable base rate
  • The base rate is negotiable depending on experience, as always, we're looking to be fair to both parties involved and believe that professionals prove themselves by their actions, not their work history.
