Craignair Inn is seeking a Lead Housekeeper to join our team in a year-round leadership role. This is an important position for someone who takes pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for guests, while also helping lead the housekeeping team with care, organization, and efficiency.

The Lead Housekeeper plays a key role in the daily flow of the inn. This person helps organize the day, assigns rooms and tasks to housekeeping staff, and makes sure everything that needs to get done is completed thoroughly and on time. This is a working leadership position, meaning the Head Housekeeper will lead by example and also clean guest rooms alongside the team.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, efficient, and team-focused. The right candidate will bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Organize the daily housekeeping plan
  • Assign rooms and responsibilities to housekeeping staff
  • Help ensure the team stays on track and runs efficiently
  • Inspect work and make sure rooms and public spaces meet standards
  • Clean guest rooms and support turnover needs
  • Keep supplies stocked and communicate inventory needs
  • Help create a positive, supportive team environment
  • Make sure all housekeeping tasks are completed each day

Schedule

This is a year-round position. Schedule will include weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed based on business levels.
Pay: Pay ranges from $18 - $22 per hour, depending on experience, plus tips
