Greeting and Seating:

  • Serving food and beverages to guests, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
  • Checking on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Customer Service and Sales:

  • Providing menu recommendations and answering questions about food and beverages.
  • Upselling menu items and promoting specials to enhance the dining experience.
  • Handling customer complaints and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

Dining Area Maintenance:

  • Clearing tables, cleaning spills, and resetting tables for the next guests.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
  • Ensuring tables are properly set with appropriate silverware and glassware.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Processing payments and handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Participating in training to enhance knowledge of menu items and service standards.
  • May assist with opening and closing duties, such as rolling silverware or preparing the dining area.
