JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking energetic, attentive, and personable Bottle Girls to deliver high-end bottle service. As a Bottle Girl, your primary responsibility is to provide guests with an elevated experience by offering exceptional customer service, ensuring that bottle service is executed with style, and creating memorable moments for VIP guests. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about premium liquor and beverages, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a friendly and engaging demeanor at all times. Successful Bottle Girls are outgoing, professional, and passionate about creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Engaging with VIP guests and providing exceptional customer service throughout their experience.
- Managing bottle service orders, from recommending premium selections to setting up mixers, garnishes, and ice.
- Ensuring a smooth presentation of bottle service, including carrying bottles with flair and setting up the VIP table.
- Handling multiple VIP tables, multitasking, and attending to guests’ needs in a timely manner.
- Preparing and stocking items such as napkins, mixers, and garnishes for bottle service.
- Maintaining knowledge of premium liquor, champagne, and other beverage offerings to make accurate recommendations.
- Ensuring the proper age of guests before serving alcoholic beverages and following all legal requirements for responsible alcohol service.
- Providing excellent customer service by interacting with guests, checking in on their experience, and addressing any needs.
- Responding effectively to guest problems and complaints to ensure a positive experience.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in a nightlife or high-end service setting is preferred.
- Ability to carry bottles, serve drinks, and attend to guests while on your feet for extended periods.
- Bottle Girls must have a friendly attitude and an engaging personality.
- Knowledge of premium liquors, champagne, and mixers is a plus.
- Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcohol.
- Must be able to provide excellent customer service and have a high attention to detail.
- Compliance with all local, state, and federal liquor laws is required.
- Must be available to work during peak hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
GUEST RELATIONS
- Respond effectively to guest problems and complaints.
- Engage with VIP guests upon arrival, welcoming them warmly and providing a personal introduction to their bottle service experience.
- Anticipate guests’ needs by asking questions to better understand their preferences and watching for opportunities to enhance their experience. This includes offering premium bottle upgrades, additional mixers, or garnishes.
- Ensure smooth and elegant bottle service presentation, from bringing out bottles with flair to setting up mixers and garnishes at the table.
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation and encourage future visits, especially for bottle service clients.
- Engage guests in conversation regarding their experience, bottle service options, and property amenities.
- Assist other staff members to ensure proper coverage and seamless guest service, especially during peak hours when multiple bottle service orders may overlap.
COMMUNICATION
- Speak to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate, and professional language.
- Discuss work-related topics discreetly and quietly with coworkers or managers, especially in VIP areas where privacy is expected.
WORKING WITH OTHERS
- Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
- Develop positive and productive relationships with other team members and departments.
- Collaborate with others to ensure teamwork, especially when working with hosts, security, or bartenders to provide seamless VIP service.
PHYSICAL TASKS
- Be prepared to stand, walk, or carry items for extended periods.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and handle objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and occasionally handle objects weighing over 50 pounds, such as large bottles for service.
- Reach overhead, bend, twist, and stoop as required to set up and serve VIP tables.
GENERAL FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES
- Maintain cleanliness of VIP areas by clearing and collecting used glassware, mixers, and bottles.
- Keep work areas clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Communicate any dietary or allergy needs to the kitchen or bar when necessary for bottle service.
- Follow proper procedures for serving alcohol, particularly for bottle service, ensuring responsible consumption.
CASH/BANK HANDLING
- Process all payments in the POS system at the time of service, ensuring accurate records of bottle service orders.
- Adhere to cash handling policies, including managing tips and maintaining records for large VIP transactions.
STEPS OF SERVICE
- Present accurate checks and process payments, ensuring that all gratuities are handled appropriately.
- Check in with VIP guests after the delivery of their bottles to ensure satisfaction with the service.
- Be prepared to answer any questions regarding the menu or bottle service selections and consult with the bartender or kitchen for clarification if needed.
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
- Protect guest privacy and handle all personal information securely.
- Adhere to company policies, ensuring that uniform and appearance are professional and in line with company standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and respect the privacy of high-profile guests.
- Ensure that all tools, equipment, and resources are handled with care, and report any issues to management.
SAFETY AND SECURITY
- Report any accidents or injuries to management immediately.
- Follow safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Use appropriate equipment, such as protective gear when necessary, to avoid injury.
- Follow established emergency procedures for evacuation or medical emergencies.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are stored and handled safely.
- Complete required safety training and certifications.
