Position Overview:
As a Shift Lead or Team Member, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our store. You will work closely with the Owner to ensure smooth operations, exceptional customer service, and a positive work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development within a dynamic and fun company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist, Supervise and train team members to maintain high performance standards and foster a positive team environment.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both employees and customers.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies, tracking sales, and conducting regular inventory audits.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Assist in developing and implementing promotions and marketing strategies to increase store sales and customer engagement.
- Support the Store Manager in scheduling staff and managing payroll.
- Monitor financial performance and assist with budgeting and expense management.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in business management, hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a retail or food service environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for customer service.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Basic knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and sales analysis.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to [insert weight] and stand for extended periods.
