    Responsibilities 

  • Prepare espresso drinks and all menu drinks to Cielo standards, help with serving food, drinks and pastries to customers. We are happily serious about how our espresso and coffee.
  • Follow protocols for serving customers, participate in cafe maintenance and all activities of the cafe.
  • Know or learn how to open the cafe, close cafe and all that is included in these tasks, sometimes wash dishes and help organize the cafe.
  • Be open to work weekends and holidays
  • Be punctual and communicate with management often.
  • Always represent Espresso Cielo and our roaster 49th Parallel Roasters Coffee in the most positive light.
  • Abide by cafe management protocols.

Skills 

  • Follow protocol for pulling espresso, milk steaming and latte art in every drink, demonstrating a sense of urgency to maintain Espresso Cielo quality in drink making, customer service, a clean cafe at all times,
  • Maintain an awareness of what needs to be done behind the bar, table area and back of house, doing what needs to be done.
  • Work independently, keep up with flow of customers, offering support to all fellow co-workers.
  • Always work with a friendly demeanor letting customers you are happy to serve them our amazing coffee and food.
