Prep Chef (Chef de Partie)
Summary
A prep chef will be responsible for cooking according to the chef’s recipes, instructions and specifications. Your work will be an important factor in the success of our events. The ultimate goal is to expand our clientele and reputation to ensure long-term success by providing unparalleled quality food and service.
Prep Chef (Chef de Partie) Duties
● Prepare menu in collaboration with colleagues
● Ensure adequacy of supplies in kitchen
● Participate in regular cleaning and maintenance practices of all kitchen spaces and equipment.
● Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices, etc)
● Follow the guidance of the executive or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes
● Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
● Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
● Help to maintain a climate of efficient and friendly cooperation
● Other duties as assigned

Requirements
● Proven experience as a prep chef or in related food service roles
● Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
● Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
● Knowledge of best cooking practices
● Willing to work as a member of a team
