Host/Hostess and Server Assistant – First Impressions Matter!

We’re looking for a warm, friendly person to be the first point of contact when guests walk in. As our host/hostess, you set the tone for the whole dining experience. Do you love good food, friendly people, and creating a welcoming experience for guests? We’re looking for people who can bring great energy and care to our restaurant serving home cooked scratch made meals. From steaks to scratch made fried pickles to Angus hamburgers, we seek to have the best food anywhere in the county. We are a family friendly, Jesus honoring environment committed to our customers, community and team. We combine the Host and Server Assistant roles.

What You’ll Do

· Welcome guests with a smile and genuine hospitality.
· Manage the seating chart and waitlist with ease.
· Answer phones and help with to-go orders.
· Keep the entrance and waiting area clean and inviting.
· Support servers when things get busy (see Server Assistant responsibilities below).

Server Assistant – Keep It Moving!

Server Assistants are the heartbeat of the dining room — keeping things clean, moving, and flowing. If you like being active and part of a fast team, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

· Clear and reset tables quickly and neatly.
· Help servers deliver food to the right tables.
· Make sure guests have clean plates, silverware, and water refills.
· Keep the dining room tidy and stocked.
· Pitch in wherever needed.

What We’re Looking For

· Energetic, quick on your feet, and detail-oriented.
· Team player who jumps in to help.
· No experience needed — just a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
