Job Overview

Responsibilities 

  • Cook menu items to spec on grill, fryer, and flat-top during lunch, dinner, and weekend rushes
  • Handle prep: portioning, breading, sauces, and stocking stations before service
  • Keep tickets moving and times consistent when the dining room and bar are both firing
  • Follow food safety, temp logs, and labeling standards; maintain a clean, organized station
  • Close out the kitchen — breakdown, sanitation, walk-in organization, and next-day prep list
  • Communicate with servers and bartenders on 86'd items, timing, and special requests
  • Help with inventory counts and flag low product before it runs out
    Skills
  • Previous kitchen experience preferred, but we'll train the right person who shows up and works
  • Able to stay calm and organized during a rush
  • Comfortable on your feet for a full shift and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance — small crew means every shift matters
  • Team-first attitude; willing to jump on dishes or prep when the line is caught up
  • Food handler certification a plus (or willingness to get one)
