Brief Description: The production manager is responsible for managing the day to day production of a wide variety of items related to the menu served at our flagship pizzeria Futuro.
Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to lift 60+ pounds in short bursts, ability to communicate clearly and effectively, problem solving and deductive reasoning combined with the ability to focus on tasks and complete them from start to finish, provide directions to other teammembers as well as time management and an understanding of sequence
Schedule/Hours: 5 days per week, 40hr min up to 60hr with occasional additional days based on the ebb and flow of business
Prior Experience: High volume restaurant prep / production experience preferred, familiarity with techniques and principles related to the production, handling, and storage of scratch made dough as well as at least a cursory understanding of volume based production equipment such as mixers, sheeters, deck ovens etc. Experience with inventory management, setting and maintaining pars, as well as a general understanding of restaurant operations and economics strongly preferre.
Compensation: 50k - 60k annually starting, paid vacation, paid holidays, health insurance reimbursement, free pizza
