Job Overview

As a Prep Cook/Line Cook at Commellini Estate, you’ll play a vital role in our kitchen operations, focusing on both prep work and supporting events. From preparing items for our event menus to assisting with the execution of service, you’ll contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare food items according to recipe specifications.
· Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and portioning ingredients.
· Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
· Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
· Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements:
· Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
· Capable of lifting and carrying racks or stacks of dishes, glassware, and utensils, weighing up to 30 lbs., up to 50 times per shift.
· Comfortable with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and lifting.
· Flexibility and willingness to work in various roles within the kitchen and during events.
· Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and a passion for food.
