Responsibilities

  • Provided friendly and inviting service to guests, striving for quality by anticipating their needs to ensure they leave satisfied with a dining experience that felt effortless and encourages repeat visits
  • Maintained strong knowledge of food and drink menus to confidently answer guest questions and accurately record/input customer orders
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to communicate orders, and with fellow serving staff to ensure fast and accurate delivery of food and beverages
  • Participate in assigned duties and side work across shifts to ensure cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, service stations, and work areas (e.g., clean and set tables, sweep/mop floors, roll silverware, etc.)
  • Adhere to all health, safety, sanitation, and serving policies or laws set by city, county, and state regulations

Skills

  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time (5+ hours)
  • Strong focus and multitasking skills to balance duties while consistently providing high-quality service
  • Effective teamwork and time management to meet daily tasks and operational needs of the restaurant
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs – e.g., soda bibs, wine/beer cases, glass racks)
  • Service industry experience encouraged but not required
