Hospitality Apprentice — Front of House (FOH)

About the Program

Cream City Concepts is hiring high school students (grades 10–12) for a structured hospitality apprenticeship beginning June 2026, with the opportunity to continue through the 2027–2028 school year. This program is designed to give you real, hands-on experience in customer service, teamwork, and restaurant operations — the kind of experience that builds skills you'll use for the rest of your life.

What You'll Learn & Do

Hosting & Guest Experience

• Greet guests and assist with seating
• Help manage waitlists and communicate with the team

Food Running

• Deliver food accurately and efficiently
• Learn menu items and presentation standards

Service Support ("Utility")

• Reset tables and maintain a clean dining room
• Refill water, stock stations, and assist staff

Bar Support (Non-Alcohol Tasks Only)

• Stock glassware
• Maintain bar cleanliness (no alcohol handling)

Expo (Introductory Learning)

• Learn order flow, timing, and quality control basics

Apprenticeship Requirements

• Complete 450 total hours by the end of the 2027–2028 school year
• Submit two written reflections/projects (one mid-year, one end-of-year)
• Maintain consistent attendance and participation
• Follow all workplace policies and expectations
• Completion of the program does not guarantee permanent employment

Important Notes (Age-Based Responsibilities)

• No serving, pouring, or handling alcohol
• No use of restricted equipment
• All duties assigned in compliance with labor laws and age guidelines
