Small business restaurant seeking a front of house shift leader.
The shift leader oversees all restaurant activities during their shift, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional guest service, and adherence to company standards. They ineract with guests, supevise staff, handle cash management, and maintain cleanlines and safety. The shift leader works hands-on as needed, partners with the management team to execute business plan, provides training to others, and resolves issues promptly while enforcing policies and procedures. $14.50/hour with the ability to serve guests and collect tips.

 Essential functions include, but not limitied to:

  • Ensures compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Supports the success of the business hands-on as needed, whether by serving guests, cleaning the store, or other duties.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills 

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Restaurant management experience
  • Fundamental requirements include reading, writing, math, and computer/POS skills
  • Strong leadership skills, including leading by example and remaining calm and professonal in challenging situations
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, looping in the right stakeholders for support when needed
  • Ability to treat others with respect and care
  • Strong communiation skills, including verbal communication
  • Self-motivated and action-oriented
  • Attitude that embraces learning
  • Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts - dependable and reliable
  • Must have reliable transportation to work, company outside events and meetings
  • Must be available and willing to work a variety of days/times including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
