Job Overview

We are looking for a part time bartender to work Friday and Saturday night from approximately 8:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. and Sunday from 8:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Pay is $4 per hour plus tips and tip share from the dine in servers.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drink Preparation and Service:
    Mix, garnish, and serve drinks to customers according to standardized recipes or customer preferences. Maintain knowledge of drink recipes and suggest drinks based on customer preferences.
    Ensure all drinks are prepared and served quickly and accurately.
  2. Customer Service:
    Greet customers as they arrive and provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure customer satisfaction and return business.
  3. Cleaning and Maintenance:
    Clean and sanitize the bar area, glasses, utensils, and equipment.
    Ensure the bar area is well-organized and free of clutter.
    Dispose of trash and clean up spills promptly
  4. Compliance and Safety:
    Serve alcohol responsibly, ensuring that no underage customers are served. Monitor customer behavior to prevent intoxication and handle difficult situations as necessary. Follow all local health and safety regulations.
  5. Team Collaboration:
    Work closely with servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and bartending techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry heavy trays or boxes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling payments.
  • Knowledge of alcohol laws and regulations in the local area.

Additional duties as required which include, but are not limited to answering the phone, packaging carryout orders, handing off carry out orders. Seating customers if servers are busy.
