The Den in downtown Houghton is looking for the right person to fill a:
Chef Position for the spring/summer
$15-18hr + discounts
Job pay will be determined on skill level and previous experience.
*Will train the right person if the person has no previous cooking experience.
Looking for the right fit for our team.
Some of the jobs that will be required to be performed will be:

  • Food prep in mornings (10am-12pm start time roughly) - NO EARLY MORNINGS!!!
  • Cleaning
  • Expediting Tickets on busy nights
  • Working with Shift leads & managers to accomplish goals and tasks for each week
  • A schedule that will require shifts on weekends and holidays
  • Ordering food for the week, recipe management and pricing, inventory controls
  • Cooking at a precise level, executing complex orders in quick recession
  • Walking up and down stairs
  • Lifting 25+lbs
  • Additional work as per requested
