Overnight Baker – Sourdough Bakery (Full-Time)
We’re looking for an experienced overnight baker to join our team at Honey Veil. This role is ideal for someone who thrives working independently, has strong time management skills, and takes pride in consistency and craftsmanship.
This is a full-time overnight position with shifts from 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

  • Hands-on sourdough experience required (mixing, fermentation, shaping, proofing, and baking)
  • Full-time availability
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong time management and the ability to prioritize throughout the shift
  • Attention to detail and commitment to consistency
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable lifting, standing for extended periods, and working overnight hours

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake sourdough breads according to recipes and production standards
  • Set up workstation with all required tools, equipment, and supplies before production begins
  • Review production schedules and pars at the start of each shift
  • Establish priorities and execute production efficiently to meet daily needs
  • Monitor fermentation and baking timelines throughout the shift
  • Inspect cleanliness and working condition of all tools, equipment, and supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow food safety standards
  • Understand proper equipment use and maintenance, and ensure equipment is operated as intended
  • Communicate with management regarding ingredients or supplies needed for production
  • Foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with the pastry and bakery teams to support daily goals

Schedule: Full-Time
Shift: Overnight (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Experience: Sourdough baking required
