Position Summary
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including team leadership, customer service, food quality, staffing, inventory management, and financial performance. This is a working management position that requires leadership on the floor and a commitment to creating a positive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop team members and shift leaders
- Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
- Maintain food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Manage scheduling and labor costs
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and waste control
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
- Train new employees and ensure adherence to company procedures
- Monitor restaurant performance and implement improvements
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and health regulations
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee development
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Experience managing labor, food costs, and inventory
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Experience with POS systems and restaurant operations preferred
