Ørchard on Catawba Island is a family owned & operated, 24-acre agritourism venue featuring two restaurants, three bars, fresh coffee & bakery, farm market, retail shop, peach & apple orchard, vineyard, beehives, acres of gardens and more. We are seeking skilled chefs and/or cooks to join us on Catawba Island (Port Clinton) to work on our beautiful property with bountiful gardens, vineyards, apple & peach orchards, chickens, and estate beehives.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality dishes using fresh produce from our garden, peach & apple orchard, and local farms
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen team to ensure timely service and exceptional quality
  • Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Adhere to local health department codes and guidelines
  • Communicate any challenges with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef and/or Culinary Director
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments
  • Work with precision, move with a purpose, and maintain excellent standards of hygiene
  • Keep a clean and sanitized work area before, during, and after shift
  • Stock station with prep based on par list
  • Follow recipes, portion control, presentation and specifications as set by the restaurant

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 year experience in restaurant setting
  • Passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients and creating innovative dishes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be available to work weekends and summer holidays
  • Reliable transportation and/or ability to commute to Port Clinton, OH 43452 on time, ready to work at scheduled shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
