Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Lead Server with strong leadership skills and some management-level experience. The ideal candidate can provide excellent guest service, support daily floor operations, assist with staff supervision, handle basic computer tasks, respond to emails, and help with supply ordering and inventory needs.

Responsibilities 

  • Provide excellent guest service and lead by example during each shift.
  • Greet guests, take accurate orders, and ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Support servers and front-of-house staff during busy shifts.
  • Help coordinate floor operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Assist with training new team members and coaching staff when needed.
  • Monitor service quality, cleanliness, and staff performance throughout the shift.
  • Help resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, side work, and shift organization.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and management.
  • Follow all company policies, safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
  • Use basic computer systems for daily restaurant operations.
  • Respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with ordering supplies and monitoring inventory levels.
  • Communicate with vendors when needed regarding restaurant supplies and deliveries.
  • Help ensure the restaurant has the necessary front-of-house and operational supplies.

Skills 

  • Previous restaurant serving experience required.
  • Prior management, shift lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling.
  • Experience with POS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to use email professionally and communicate clearly.
  • Experience with inventory tracking and supply ordering preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks in addition to floor responsibilities.
