For the first time ever, Cut Stone is hiring! This is a rare opportunity to join our tight knit crew.

We're looking to add a new pizzaiolo to our awesome Cut Stone crew!

The right person is someone with attention to detail, commitment to quality, and a desire to be a part of a team that works together to create delicious and unique food.

We think making pizzas is a lot of fun, but we also take our quality very seriously and we're looking for someone willing to learn the skills and techniques to create high-end pizza that meets our standards every time.

We are looking to fill shifts on Wednesday through Friday nights from 4 until 9 as well as events throughout the summer.

This position also has potential to expand into more hours and responsibilites as our restaurant continues to grow locally.

Responsibilities

  • Cooking pizzas in a wood-fired oven, most often in an outdoor environment.
  • Kitchen prep-work and after-shift cleanup.
  • Adhering to strict food-quality standards.
  • Maintaning a professional appearance and behavior consistent with an open, customer-facing open kitchen environment.
  • Occasionally assisting with running of food directly to customers.

Skills

  • Commercial kitchen experience preferred.
  • Awareness and understanding of food safety regulations and requirements.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. including up and down stairs during a shift.
  • Sense of urgency
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Good communication skills.
