Caviar & Bananas, a high-volume gourmet market and café, is seeking energetic and creative line cooks. Caviar & Bananas is different from a traditional restaurant setting. What makes us different? We have an ever-changing menu - which gives our line cooks a chance to create and produce new dishes on a revolving basis. With several different areas in our food offerings - line cooks have a chance to work with charcuterie, cheeses, salads, prepared dishes and catering. No day is ever the same as the one before! We close daily at 3:30pm, which means no more working until midnight. We have a phenomenal team and all enjoy working together. We have a high-end gourmet product offering that you will be proud to put your name on! We are a ‘scratch kitchen’ making everything fresh on-site. Requirements: Must have at least 1 years experience as a line cook in the food and beverage industry. Must have great knife skills and the ability to multitask. Must be able to handle interaction w/ high volumes of customers, sandwich/salad prep, portioning meats/cheeses, made-to-order foods. This work environment is very fast paced and requires your upmost attention. Customer service is a high priority and there is direct customer interaction required. The ideal candidate would be an ambitious, organized, hard-working leader with a positive attitude and desire to share their knowledge with the staff and customers.
