As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to serving food and beverages.
Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
  • Provide detailed menu descriptions and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
  • Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for processing payments.
  • Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive guest relations.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings to provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation regulations is essential.
  • Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required.
