Job Overview

As part of our back-of-house crew, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen. You’ll ensure that utensils and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized to support smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities

  • Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently and in compliance with sanitation standards
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen areas, sinks, floors, and dishwashing stations throughout your shift
  • Using the 3 comp sink to manually wash utensils and pans
  • Assisting kitchen staff by ensuring clean cookware is always available
  • Taking out trash and disposing of waste properly
  • Restocking clean dishware and utensils to their appropriate areas
  • Monitoring cleaning supplies and notifying management when stock is low
  • Assisting with general cleaning during quieter periods if needed
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a clean, safe work environment

Skills

  • Strong work ethic and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes and kitchen tools
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and work in a warm environment
  • Team player mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak service hours
  • Willingness to assist with other back-of-house tasks as needed
  • Prior experience as a dishwasher or in a kitchen setting is a plus but not required.
  • Flexible availability, especially during peak hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
