Job Overview

Responsibilities 

  • Greeting Guests: Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and make them feel valued.
  • Seating Arrangements: Manage seating plans, including keeping track of reservations and ensuring the seating flow is smooth during busy times
  • Customer Service: Answer questions about the menu, restaurant policies, and specials. Be prepared to assist with other guest needs, like finding restrooms or accommodating special requests.
  • Waiting Area Management: Ensure guests in the waiting area are comfortable and informed about their table status.
  • Coordination: Communicate with servers and the kitchen to manage table availability and provide accurate wait times.
  • Opening/Closing Tasks: Assist with preparing the restaurant for service and tidying up at the end of the shift.
  • Cleaning: Ensuring the waiting area is clean and tidy as it is the first and last impresion of the restaurant.

  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations, with prior experience being a plus but not always required.
