Job Overview

Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and light meal items according to recipes and quality standards.
Ensure all food is prepared and presented consistently and in a timely manner.
Set up and stock food preparation stations before service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
Monitor food quality and freshness, rotating stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, ovens, fryers, slicers, and other food preparation equipment.
Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Complete opening and closing kitchen duties, including cleaning and equipment maintenance.

Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or prep cook in a café, restaurant, or similar food service environment preferred.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40–50 pounds.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
