Job Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Cook cake and yeast-raised doughnuts on our hot line
  • Follow recipes and procedures to prep necessary items
  • Glaze, ice, and decorate doughnuts according to guidelines
  • Package doughnuts into boxes
  • End-of-shift kitchen cleanup including dishes, work tables, equipment, and floors

Skills and requirements:

  • 1 - 2 years kitchen experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team on busier production days
  • Ability to work with autonomously if scheduled for a solo-shift
  • Ability to work on your feet for a full shift
  • Ablity to work long shifts if the need arises (not to exceed 10 hrs)
  • Familiarity with standard units of measurement (lbs, oz, g, kg, etc) and experience scaling ingredients
  • Ability to learn quickly and be a contributing member of an efficient, fast-working team
  • Afternoon / evening availability
  • Weekend availability
  • Familiarity with food handler sanitation standards -- possessing a food handler's cert is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to maneuver around a busy kitchen, crouch/bend down, lift above your head, and otherwise move in a way required to complete all kitchen tasks.
