Job Overview

At Toro Kitchen & Bar, a modern Spanish restaurant, our Managers are the leaders who keep the restaurant running smoothly and our guests coming back for more. You’ll oversee daily operations, coordinate front and back of house teams, and ensure exceptional service, quality, and efficiency. With your leadership, problem-solving

Responsibilities 

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including front of house and back of house activities.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards.
• Manage scheduling, staff assignments, and labor efficiency.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Maintain inventory control, ordering, and cost management.
• Assist with training and development of new team members.
• Support special events, private functions, and high-volume service periods.

Skills 

• Previous restaurant management experience, preferably in a high-volume or upscale environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations, labor management, and cost control.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Job Settings

• Primarily PM shifts, with occasional AM oversight.
• Must be available for weekends, holidays, and special events.
