WHAT YOU’LL DO

1. Create Lasting Guest Connections
Deliver warm, friendly, and memorable service to every guest. Greet promptly, build rapport, and anticipate needs to create lasting memories worth sharing.
2. Recommend with Purpose
Proactively suggest appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverages that enhance the dining experience. Know our menu, specials, and promotions inside and out.
3. Input Orders with Accuracy
Use the POS system to input and review guest orders accurately. Confirm any allergies, modifiers, or special preferences to ensure guests receive exactly what they expect.
4. Maintain Cleanliness and Sanitation
Keep your section clean and organized at all times. Follow food safety guidelines and uphold personal hygiene standards, including handwashing and safe handling of utensils and food.
5. Collaborate to Keep Service Flowing
Work in sync with hosts, bartenders, kitchen staff, and fellow servers to ensure timely, smooth service. Participate in pre-shift huddles and communicate any guest needs or feedback clearly.
6. Handle Payments Responsibly
Present checks promptly and process payments with accuracy. Double-check comps, discounts, and reward redemptions to ensure each checkout is handled professionally and honestly.
7. Promote Loyalty and Future Visits
Inform guests about current specials, our rewards program, and upcoming events. Encourage delivery, catering, or return visits by highlighting what makes Little Italy unforgettable.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience as a server in an upscale or full-service restaurant
  • Advanced knowledge of wine, beer, or spirits is a major plus
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts, and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • A strong sense of urgency and hospitality
  • Understanding of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards
