Responsibilities 

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware.
  • Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
  • Sweep or scrub floors. Gather and empty trash.
  • Sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; complete safety training and certifications.
