Position Summary

The Accountant will handle financial records, reconcile accounts, prepare reports, and support budgeting and compliance. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and financial records
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
• Assist with payroll preparation and reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Maintain organized digital and physical financial files
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience with payroll systems
• Experience in hospitality or service‑based businesses
• Knowledge of tax preparation or compliance
