Who are we?
Liv's Oyster bar was established over 15 years ago. We are a food forward thinking, chef driven company. We are open 5 days a week for dinner only. We are a seafood centric restaurant that changes our menus seasonally. We use modern techniques as well as classics.
We are looking for an experienced restaurant server with fine dining experience. Your section is your own little business. We give you the tools and the guests, we expect you to partner with us to make everything else a great experience
Who are we looking for?
Mature experienced food server with advance wine and food knowledge with a friendly personality.
Our front of house works together as a Team so we look for those that are going to contribute in a positive way to the culture.
Please mention your fine dining server experience if not detailed on your resume. Throughout the night you must be able to follow proper steps of fine dining service and script without making it seem robotic; add your own personality to the message!
We use TOAST POS. If you have never used it, it's ok! It's super user friendly.

Restaurant Server Job Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and sitting diners comfortably in the dining section
- Taking customers’ food and drink orders
- Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
- Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from restaurant wine stock
- Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
- Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
- Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events
- Ensuring all utensils and areas are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations
