Job Description:
As a Delivery Driver at Sarita’s Tortilla Factory Inc, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of our products to our customers. You will be responsible for safely transporting tortilla products from our facility to various delivery locations within your assigned route.

Responsibilities:

  1. Safely operate company vehicles (e.g., delivery vans, trucks) to transport tortilla products to designated delivery locations.
  2. Load and unload delivery vehicles with tortilla products, ensuring proper handling and securing of merchandise.
  3. Plan delivery routes efficiently to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules.
  4. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including courteous interactions with customers and timely resolution of delivery-related issues.
  6. Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery and any relevant documentation.
  7. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating delivery vehicles.
  8. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  9. Assist with other duties in the warehouse or distribution center as needed.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
  • Knowledge of local roads and routes within the delivery area.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and packages.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours and weekends as needed.
